Your First Yoga Class: What to Expect

Welcome to your first yoga class! To join a session, simply sign up through the Classes tab on the website. If you’d like to connect before your first class or have any questions, you can reach out to me via the Contact tab—I’m always happy to help!

On the day of your class, it’s best to arrive about 10 minutes early. This gives you some time to settle in, find your way around, and say hello. When you arrive, come into the yoga space and feel free to come talk to me. I’ll guide you on where you can put your belongings and where to change if needed.

Please bring comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely, some water for after class, and your yoga mat if you prefer using your own (we have some mats available if you need one). Once you’ve put your things down, you can head into the room where we’ll practice. Set up your mat, lie down, and take a moment to relax and connect with yourself.

I’ll join you in the room and we’ll start the class together. After our session, you’re welcome to take your time slowly getting up. If you’d like to chat or have any questions, I’m here—feel free to stay and connect. You can hang out, chat with others, or simply take in the peaceful atmosphere. When you’re ready, gather your things or change before heading out.

If we’re practicing in the park, please remember that there won’t be a dedicated space to change, so come dressed and ready to move.
